Shipping Policy

At Based Preppers, we aim to dispatch and deliver orders quickly and securely.
1. Shipping Costs
We offer free tracked shipping on all orders placed through our website within the United Kingdom.
There are no additional delivery charges unless otherwise stated.
2. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 working days after payment has been successfully completed.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
3. Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is 3–5 working days from dispatch.
Many orders may arrive sooner depending on location and courier performance, but customers should allow the full delivery window while we continue to optimise dispatch operations.
Delivery estimates may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control such as postal disruptions or seasonal demand.
4. Shipping Carriers
All orders are shipped using Royal Mail or Parcelforce tracked delivery services.
Tracking information will be provided so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.
5. Age-Restricted Products
Certain products sold on our website, including knives and crossbows, are restricted to customers aged 18 years or over.
To comply with UK law and responsible retail practices, age verification is required through two stages.
Post-Order ID Upload
You can add age-restricted products to your cart and checkout as normal. After you place your order, you must upload a valid photo ID using your order number.
A link to the ID upload page is included in your order confirmation email. You can also use our age verification upload page.
Your whole order is held and will not be dispatched until we have received and approved your ID. Once approved, the order is released for dispatch.
The name on your ID must match the name on your order. We cannot release or dispatch the order if they do not match.
Accepted forms of identification include:
- Passport
- UK or EU driving licence
- PASS card
- EU national ID card
Delivery ID Verification
Age verification will also be required upon delivery. Restricted deliveries use Parcelforce age verification.
The delivery driver will request a valid government-issued photo ID to confirm the recipient is over 18.
Age-restricted items:
- Cannot be delivered to parcel lockers
- Cannot be left in safe places
- Cannot be delivered without age verification
If age verification cannot be completed successfully, the parcel may be returned to us and a refund issued minus any applicable return delivery costs.
6. Delivery Issues
If your order has not arrived within 7 working days of dispatch, please contact us and we will investigate with the delivery provider.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is correct. We cannot be responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect address details.
7. Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may be restricted from shipping to specific locations due to legal or courier limitations. Where this applies, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order.
